    Terms of Reference / Areas of Responsibility

    21 Members – Politically Balanced

     

    ·       Planning Matters - determines planning and other related applications and functions relating to town and country planning and development control;

    ·       Licensing Matters – has a range of functions relating to the licensing of hackney carriages and private hire vehicles;

    ·       Rights of Way Matters - has a range of functions including determining Definitive Map Modification Orders [DMMOs], the registration and deregistration of Common Land and determining controversial or contested Public Path Orders [PPOs].
