Question:

I note that the Head of Service at Social Services is now leaving Powys Council, so soon after the Head of Children’s Service and the Director, at a time of huge financial pressures on Social Services.  This raises severe concerns about the strategic direction of social services.  Can we have an assurance that these matters are under control and that a clear strategic plan of action exists and that these vacated posts will be filled in the near future.
