Mount Street Junior School, has a backlog of repairs, the cost of which has been documented as being circa £1,036,794.
Mount Street Infant School, has a backlog of repairs, the cost of which has been documented as being circa £712,314.
For both schools will PCC provide the following:
Itemised breakdown on the detail of the work required, including date that it was formally agreed the work was needed.
Itemised breakdown on the allocation of costs pertaining to these repairs.
Response by Head of Service:
The backlog maintenance figures included in the consultation document for Mount St Infants School and Mount St Juniors School is based on a calculation - square meterage of a school multiplied by estimated cost based on the condition of the building. This provides an indication of how much it would cost to upgrade the school to a serviceable standard – this is not based on an itemised list of works.
