Question from: County Councillor Elwyn Vaughan Subject: Ladywell House rent
On the 6/2/2019 Powys County Council stated in a FOI response in relation to Ladywell House; “The current occupancy level is 54% and the current rental income is 234k”.
On the 16/11/2020 I’m told in response to a Question to Head of Service; “the occupancy level for 20/21 is 73% and the current rental income is £180K” “It is envisaged to rise to 81% and £230k in 21/22”.
Hence it seems from this response that the occupancy has gone up 19%, yet the rental income has gone down £54k. Indeed, even at the envisaged 21/22 occupancy levels of 81% the total rental would still be less than the £234k quoted in the FOI at 54% occupancy!
Can you therefore explain the discrepancy in these figures and provide correct and current occupancy and rental income paid for Ladywell House.
