Having carefully
considered the objections to the proposed sections of no waiting at
any time prohibitions identified as Objection Representor Numbers
1, 3, 5 and 7 on the plans at Appendix E; Objection Representor
Numbers 1, 3 and 5 are noted but overruled.
Objection
Representor Number 7 is noted and partially upheld, with the
prohibition of waiting at any time restriction removed from
directly in front of 10 Cambrian Place.
The County
Councillor Representation Number CC2 is noted and partially upheld,
with the prohibition of waiting at any time restriction removed
over a length of 5 metres along the east side of Mount Lane on the
north side of the roadside tree located between the properties
Severn View and 10 Mount Lane.
The County
Councillor Representation Number CC2 is noted but overruled.
The finalised
modified and new waiting and loading and on street parking controls

For health and
safety reasons as set out below:
Objection
Representor Number 1 – Vehicles parked along the B4518 in
front of the properties 37 to 39 Garden Suburb compromise the safe
use of the nearby zebra crossing and interfere with the required
junction visibility from the Garden Suburb junction.
Objection
Representor Number 3 – Vehicles parked along the main
carriageway of the B4518 interfere with the required junction
visibility from the Dolgwenith
junction, and vehicles parked along the Dolgwenith estate road in close proximity to its
junction with the B4518 compromise the safe use of that side road
junction.
Objection
Representor Number 5 – A 15 metre length of the carriageway
between 1 and 5 Victoria Avenue has already been excluded from
being the subject of prohibitions of waiting to permit patients
attending the Osteopathic practice to be able to park immediately
in front of the practice. Vehicles parked any closer to the
roundabout or the petrol filling station access at that location
would compromise the safe use of the roundabout and/or the safe use
of the petrol filling station access.
Objection
Representor Number 7 – Vehicles parked along the Cambrian
Place highway too close to its junction with the Foundry Terrace
highway would obstruct larger vehicles negotiating the narrow 90
degree bend at that location and interfere with the movements of
larger vehicles entering or leaving the industrial site access at
that location. It is considered that vehicles parked immediately in
front of 10 Cambrian Place are less likely to interfere with such
movements and therefore the extent of the waiting prohibitions at
that location are shortened accordingly.
County Councillor
Representation Number CC2 – Vehicles parked too close to the
junction of Mount Lane ...
