Ceir 110 o gynghorau tref a chymuned ym Mhowys
allan o 730 sydd yng Nghymru gyfan. Y mwyaf o unrhyw Sir yng
Nghymru. Mae nifer ohonynt yn cael trafferth cael aelodau,
trafferth cael clercod, ac yn gyfyng o ran eu gallu i weithredu er
budd eu cymunedau. Maent hefyd yn cyfrannu at gostau treth cyngor
trigolion Powys.
Mae'n ddyletswydd ar Gynghorau Sir i adolygu
cynghorau tref a chymuned pob 15 mlynedd. Credaf fod angen gwneud
hynny er budd ein trigolion. Pryd fydd Cyngor Powys yn cynnal
adolygiad o'r fath?

There are 110 town and community councils in
Powys out of the 730 in the whole of Wales. The largest amount in
any County in Wales. Many of them are struggling to get members,
struggling to get clerks, and are restricted in their ability to
operate in the interest of their communities. They also contribute
towards council tax costs of Powys residents.
County Councils have a responsibility to
review town and community councils every 15 years. I believe that
there is a need to do so in the interest of our residents. When
will Powys County Council carry out such a review?
