Mae’r gwaith yn parhau i
fynd rhagddo, mae gwaith adfer i symud yr halogiad yn debygol o
gostio tua £140k a ffioedd mewnol CSP (circa £5k).
Cafwyd cyngor arbenigol oddi wrth ymgynghorydd tir halogedig
– cyfanswm y gost hyd yma yw £8,967.75 a ariannwyd gan
gyllideb refeniw Atgyweirio, Cynnal a Chadw Canolog Gwasanaeth
Ysgolion, ac mae samplo d?r yn parhau, eto, i’w ariannu gan
gyllideb refeniw Atgyweirio, Cynnal a Chadw Canolog Gwasanaeth
Ysgolion. Mae’n bosibl y bydd gwaith pellach yn ofynnol yn
ôl yr hyn a bennwyd gan y swyddog tir
halogedig.

Cafodd y gwaith adfer ei
gynnwys fel blaenoriaeth yn rhaglen gyfalaf Prif Welliannau
Ysgolion ynghyd â gwaith arall iechyd a
diogelwch a diogelu a ddynodwyd yn yr ysgol.

na chafodd y pwyllgor cyllid ei hysbysu am y gwariant
hwn?
Mae’r costau hyn yn cael
eu hariannu o ddyraniadau cyllideb presennol felly nid oedd yn
ofynnol cymeradwyo hawl trosglwyddo arian. Bydd y costau a
dyraniadau cyllidebol yn cael eu cynnwys oddi fewn i’r
trosolwg a ddarparwyd yn yr adroddiadau cyllid, ond nid ydynt yn
cynnwys manylion gronynnog cynllun wrth gynllun.

Confirmation whether 140k is the total cost of the remedial
work
The works are still ongoing,
remedial works to remove the contamination are likely to cost in
the region of £140k plus internal PCC fees (circa £5k).
There has been specialist advice from a contaminated land
consultant - total cost to date £8,967.75 funded from Schools
Service Central Repair & Maintenance revenue budget and water
sampling is continuing, again to be funded from Schools Service
Central Repair & Maintenance revenue budget. Further works may
be required as specified by the contaminated land
officer.
2. What
resource or fund is paying for the expenditure?
The remedial works have been
included as a priority in the Schools Major Improvements capital
programme together with other health and safety and safeguarding
works identified at the school.
3. Why
was the finance committee not informed of this
expenditure?
These costs are being funded
from existing budget allocations so have not required a virement to
be approved. The costs and budget allocations will be included
within the overview provided in the finance reports but do not
include the granular scheme by scheme details.
