Strategic Property have written to all service areas requesting that defibrillators are registered on ‘The Circuit’ (The National Defibrillator Network). This request is in line with Welsh Government guidance regarding registration. The list of registered defibrillators can be accessed using this link. Once this process is complete, gap analysis will be undertaken to inform potential investment decisions going forward.
Work is ongoing to improve the accessibility of defibrillators under the control of Powys County Council. Strategic Property are currently looking into the possibility of relocating existing defibrillators installed within corporate offices to external locations to increase accessibility outside of specified office opening hours. Funding for this improvement will be secured from existing building revenue budgets.
