No applications for dispensation have been received from Town or Community Councillors.

 

C.        Ombudsman’s Casebook

 

The Ombudsman had published Code of Conduct Casebook for the period October – December 2018.

 

D.        Training of community councillors

 

            The Committee noted the Head of Democratic Services’ response.   However, the Member who had raised the issue commented that, she was not asking the Council to provide training.  It was suggested that discussions could take place with One Voice Wales [OVW] to discuss issues regarding code of conduct complaints and how the training provided by OVW relates to the type of complaints received by the Ombudsman.

Reason for decision

To invite a representative of One Voice Wales [OVW] to the next meeting.

To contact OVW in respect of code of conduct complaints regarding town and community councillors.
